Since 2014, the Summit on Improvement in Education has developed a vibrant learning community by engaging diverse groups of educational professionals—such as school and district leaders, staff from charter management organizations, leaders in state departments of education and professional organizations, entrepreneurs, faculty from higher education organizations, students, parents, and community leaders—in service of addressing complex problems and issues of inequity in educational outcomes.

2021 Summit: A Virtual Event
Carnegie Foundation’s 2021 Summit spanned two weeks. The first week ran April 19–23 and focused on pre-recorded sessions and posters that participants can view on demand. Pre-conference courses were offered as standalone sessions on Sunday, April 25, and the live Summit—expanded this year with an extra day—ran from Monday, April 26 through Wednesday, April 28.
The Summit is more than a conference. It’s an opportunity to network, gain direction, stimulate dialogue, enhance professional knowledge, and share best practices. Each year, we come together as a community of improvers to catalyze positive and sustainable change.
