Vicki Yim is events manager at Carnegie Foundation. She plans and manages a wide range of the Foundation’s internal and external events. Vicki has extensive event project management experience in nonprofit and corporate settings. Most recently, she was events manager at a technology conference startup. Prior to that, she was an independent event consultant and completed projects for Gap Inc., Oracle OpenWorld, and Novartis. Vicki also worked for 13 years at the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) – a global membership association of 12,000 corporate communication professionals in 70 countries – where she produced their annual 4-day World Conference, professional development workshops, leadership conferences, board meetings, and special events. In addition, she has helped organize citywide art festivals for the City of Santa Monica and summer internship programs for the Getty Foundation. Vicki holds a B.S. in sociology from the National University of Singapore and a master of communication management degree from the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Southern California.
